Mission Areas are being created all over the diocese, and indeed throughout the Church in Wales. Some dioceses are calling them Ministry Areas, but they will be the same a new way of orgarnising our churches and our people to better serve God’s purpose.
The Borderlands Mission Area has been created from the original deanary of Hawarden, with the addition of the parishes of Connah’s Quay and LLanfynydd. We are the biggest Mission Area in the diocese, because we have felt that in our case, we will be strengthened by supporting each other rather than dividing along a line and separating those have already being working together.
